Exterior Cleaning & Polishing

Aerokleen A510

Highly effective aqueous based biodegradable aircraft fuselage cleaner. This product is equally suited to brush, foam or robotic application. (AMS 1526C, BOEING D6-17487)

More details

New generation, high performance aircraft exterior cleaner

  • Outperforms even highly alkaline products
  • Leaves a shine on painted surfaces
  • Low alkalinity improves operator safety and comfort
  • Good rinsability
  • Exceptionally low streaking
  • Low odour and solvent free
  • Comprehensive aircraft approvals

Dasic Aerokleen A510 is a very high performance aircraft exterior cleaner, which is solvent free and less strongly alkaline than many products on the market. It is safe on modern high solids paint schemes and leaves a noticeable shine on paintwork.

Dasic Aerokleen A510 has been developed to meet current and future environmental standards and to provide aircraft operators with more effective and safer aircraft exterior cleaners for the 21st century.

Dasic Aerokleen A510 is based on the latest surfactant technology and is fully compliant with Regulation (EC) No.648/2004 on detergents.

APPLICATIONS

a) Fuselage Cleaning - Medium Soiling
Painted and non-painted alloy surfaces may be effectively cleaned using Aerokleen A510 at a concentration of 10% in water. Aerokleen A510 may be applied by brush, spray or by foam applicator. Application should be commenced at the lowest position working in an upward direction in order to minimise any potential for streak formation. Adequate dwell time should be allowed to ensure complete wetting of the surface which should then be agitated with a brush and subsequently well rinsed with water.
Aerokleen A510 is also ideally suited for application through robotic equipment such as the Nordic Dino system.

b) Fuselage and Undercarriage Cleaning - Heavy Soiling
Exhaust stains and other heavy contamination of the types usually associated with engine and undercarriage areas will be removed more readily with stronger concentrations of up to 40% Aerokleen A510 in water. At this concentration, there is a slight viscosity “build” which improves cling, greatly enhances cleaning and gives better economy in use. Where very heavy long standing soil is present, the use of either Aerokleen A320 or Aerokleen A460 heavy duty cleaners is recommended.

c) Pre-paint Cleaning
As a final cleaning stage after paint removal and prior to commencing with a subsequent painting process, Aerokleen A510 is effective at a concentration of 10% in water. After application and agitation, the surface should be thoroughly rinsed with water.

PACKAGING
25 litre drums, 200 litre drums, 1000 litre IBC’s and bulk road tankers.

HEALTH and SAFETY INFORMATION
Always consult the product label and Dasic Safety Data Sheet before use.

More details

Heavy duty high viscosity aqueous based aircraft exterior cleaner

  •     Viscous – high cling factor even when diluted
  •     Slow drying – extremely important in hot weather conditions
  •     High lubricity – assists brush agitation over large areas
  •     Readily water dilutable for economic usage (25% in water)
  •     Non-streaking
  •     Contains low toxicity biodegradable synthetic solvent for increased performance
  •     Biodegradable surfactants
  •     Good rinsability
  •     Complies with comprehensive aircraft approvals
  •     Complies with Regulation (EC) No 648/2004 on Detergents

Aerokleen A380 Gel is a completely new concept in aircraft cleaning. The gel structure of the product enables it to continue to solubilise deposits with minimal drying, even in adverse hot and windy weather conditions.

The unique structure of Aerokleen A380 Gel enables it to be readily applied through pressure applicators, whilst ensuring that a substantial film of product clings to the surface. The structure of this film has also been specifically developed to offer high lubricity when agitated by brush.

Aerokleen A380 Gel was primarily developed for removing soils from landing gears, wheel wells and flap cavities. However, the product has also proved highly effective in the removal of the artially carbonized greases typically found in engine exhaust and thrust reverser areas.

Aerokleen A380 Gel was formulated to be readily dilutable in water whilst retaining a reasonable degree of viscosity. The product is, therefore, extremely versatile and equally suitable for use on all areas of the aircraft exterior.

Aerokleen A380 Gel incorporates a low toxicity biodegradable synthetic solvent in conjunction with the latest products of surfactant technology in order to boost cleaning performance without compromising on environmental acceptability.

Aerokleen A380 Gel contains no petroleum distillate solvents, is non-flammable and presents no more of an effluent problem than conventional biodegradable water dilutable shampoos. The product is safe on aircraft materials and will not craze perspex.

Aerokleen A380 Gel contains no citrus ingredients and can be used in hangar environment with no perceptible odour.

APPLICATIONS
Aerokleen A380 Gel may be applied by brush or pressure spraying equipment.

Heavy duty cleaning
For optimum performance on landing gear areas etc., Aerokleen A380 Gel should be used either as supplied or diluted at 50% with water. The product should preferably be applied to the areas by spray. After allowing a few minutes dwell time to enable the product to solubilise the soiling, the surface should be agitated by brush and then thoroughly rinsed.

General cleaning
For cleaning other areas of the aircraft exterior such as the upper fuselage, Aerokleen A380 Gel may be effectively used at a dilution of 25% in water, using the above method of application.

Immersion cleaning of aircraft wheels
Aerokleen A380 Gel used, as an immersion product will effectively wet out and remove the soils found on aircraft wheels. Rubber and heat baked contamination present no problem to this specialised product.
The component, stator or aircraft wheel may be immersed in a tank containing neat Aerokleen A380 Gel. Its highly viscous characteristics allow the material to continue acting when the wheel has been removed from the tank and allowed to stand. Excess material should be allowed to drain back into the tank and a dwell time of approximately 15 minutes is recommended prior to water rinsing using an air/water gun. Light agitation with a brush may be beneficial.

PACKAGING
25 litre and 200 litre drums.

High foaming solvent cleaner for heavy duty exterior cleaning

  • Extremely effective on heavy oil and smoke trail deposits
  • Low streaking
  • Exceptional rinsability
  • Biodegradable surfactant system
  • Application by brush, spray or foam generator
  • Comprehensive approvals

Aerokleen Aerosolv is a unique solvent based heavy duty cleaner which when diluted with water is capable of producing a stable foam blanket when used through the appropriate equipment.

Aerokleen Aerosolv is a specifically formulated micro emulsifiable solvent based on an integrated biodegradable surfactant system which, when used cold, will break heavy oil and smoke trail deposits, associated with the landing gear and engine exhaust areas of aircraft.
